강범준 교수는 서울대학교 공과대학 건축학과에서 공간분석, 공간행태, 도시설계 분야를 연구하고 교육하고 있습니다. 근본적 연구 동기와 목적은 건축도시공간과 행태의 동적 상호관계의 실체파악과 원인규명입니다. 장기적 실천 목적은 더욱 건강한 미래 건축과 도시 형태 개발입니다.
서울대학교 건축학과에서 학사, 석사를 마치고 서울연구원 도시계획설계연구부에서 연구원으로 근무하였습니다. 미국 University of Washington에서 도시설계및계획 박사학위를 받고 뉴욕주립대(SUNY Buffalo) 건축대학과 명지대학교 건축대학에서 교수로 근무한 바 있습니다.

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering, College of Engineering, Seoul National University (SNU DAAE). My research interests include spatial analysis, environmental behavior, and urban design, with research questions on the environment-behavior interactions. As long-term practical goals, I would develop future urban forms shaping healthy urban living.
Before joining SNU DAAE, I worked at the College of Architecture, Myongji University and School of Architecture and Planning, University at Buffalo (SUNY) as a professor and at Urban Form Lab in University of Washington as a research associate. I also worked as an urban designer/researcher at Seoul Development Institute (currently the Seoul Institute). As trained as an architect/urban designer, in general, I’m interested in finding new city forms that will come with new technologies in the future.
